Twin Cities Business has named FMJ Shareholders and Board Members Heidi Carpenter and Shannon McDonough as Notable Women in Law in their special editorial feature profiling accomplished females in the legal profession in Minnesota.
Heidi is the head of FMJ’s General Corporate & Business and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group and Shannon is the head of FMJ’s Litigation and HR & Employment practice groups.
Together, the two of them created an event titled “FMJ Uncorked: A Night of Women, Wine, and Wisdom.” At that time, there were few women’s networking opportunities in the Twin Cities and the first event was attended by 30 professional women. With tenacity and creativity, the event has grown to 150 women and expanded into its own brand, “FMJ Women Uncorked,” complete with a quarterly newsletter featuring female business leaders and women-written content.
