Hendrix Consulting Group – Section 333 Exemption & COA

Recently, FMJ had the pleasure of assisting Hendrix Consulting Group, LLC, an Eden Prairie company, with their successful application for a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Section 333 Exemption as well as a Certificate of Authorization (COA) for commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations throughout the United States.

 

The Section 333 Exemption process provides operators safe and legal entry into the National Airspace System. The COA is an authorization issued by the FAA and the Department of Transportation to a public operator for specific UAS activities. Hendrix Consulting Group has been granted the exemption to conduct a variety of aerial data collection services to include aerial imaging, videography, photography, mapping and inspection services to the real estate, construction and land development industry, as well as the energy, natural resources and agricultural sectors.
