We are pleased to announce that attorney Jamie Briones has joined the firm as an associate in our Litigation practice group. This hire will be our first since the COVID-19 pandemic hit Minnesota earlier this year.
Jamie’s practice will focus on representing clients in commercial and employment litigation as FMJ’s litigation practice group continues to be very active representing businesses in a variety of industries. Before joining the firm, Jamie was an associate at a small firm in Minneapolis.
“We are pleased Jamie is joining FMJ during this unprecedented time,” said Shannon McDonough, head of FMJ’s Litigation and HR & Employment practice groups and Board Member of the firm. “While we are all experiencing changes and hardships due to the pandemic, our clients are still needing the tremendous service that we can provide. Jamie’s skillset and experience demonstrate that she can jump into the firm and start providing this same level of FMJ service.”
Jamie received her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law with a concentration in Organizational Ethics and Compliance and her B.A. from the University of Minnesota. After law school, she served as a law clerk in the Hennepin County District Court to the Honorable Nicole A. Engisch.
