The women of FMJ hosted another very successful FMJ Uncorked event recently. This complimentary event is designed for women at the forefront of business and the law to share a nice evening out, to network and connect with each other, and to enjoy some delicious food and beverages. This year, more than 100 women gathered to celebrate and support each other, and it was a wonderful chance to connect outside of the office.
FMJ’s Shannon McDonough served as emcee for the evening and spoke about the progress and challenges for women in business. Shannon also talked a bit about FMJ’s growth and current success as a women-led law firm.
Our special guest, Lisa Nicholson (the Founder and Owner of Salsa Lisa), shared her entrepreneurship story in an engaging presentation. It was inspiring to hear Lisa discuss her journey as she grew a successful business that now distributes a variety of delicious salsa products in grocery stores and retailers throughout Minnesota and nationwide.
FMJ Uncorked is a popular series of networking and development events for women that Heidi Carpenter and Shannon McDonough have been leading for more than 20 years. It is always inspiring to see so many amazing women gathered in one space, and we are thankful to help everyone connect. Lisa’s presentation was excellent, and our attorneys and staff members did a great job hosting. This was a special night!
