V. John Ella has been asked to present “A Handy Guide to Employee Handbooks” during the 2024 MNSHRM State Conference. John’s presentation will be available on October 15, 2024 on demand. The presentation will address reasons to have a handbook, what the minimum requirements are for a handbook, what not to include in a handbook, and tips for multistate employers. Recent Minnesota laws require certain policies including Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST). Minnesota also legalized cannabis. If you haven’t reviewed your handbook in 2024, now is the time!
