Fafinski Mark & Johnson is pleased to welcome Attorney Erick Kriewaldt to the firm’s General Corporate & Business Practice Groups, where he will focus his practice on Sports & Entertainment, Business Law, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Intellectual Property. Erick works with athletes, agents, teams, sports organizations, and other industry professionals on matters involving operations, compliance, athlete representation, NIL, sponsorships, and other sports-related business matters. He also assists businesses and individuals with corporate, commercial real estate, manufacturing, and trademark matters.
Erick brings a unique combination of legal training and firsthand experience in the sports and entertainment arena. Before joining FMJ, he worked for a professional sports agency, where he supported athlete recruitment and sponsorship matters, as well as a national digital sports media company on social media and data initiatives. He also founded an NIL collective while in college and later consulted for an NIL collective at a Power Four institution. While in law school, Erick worked with FMJ as a law clerk, learning the ropes in a variety of areas across our business practice groups.
