FMJ Congratulates Molly Novak on Her St. Thomas Law 3L Mission Award

Molly Novak (Center), with Elizabeth Kratochwill (Left) and Natolie Hochhausen (Right)

FMJ is a proud supporter of the 3L Mission Award at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.  This year’s amazing recipient is Molly Novak!

St. Thomas Law annually recognizes students, faculty, adjuncts, staff, and alumni who work to further the school’s Mission.  FMJ Shareholder, and UST Law Alum, Natolie Hochhausen was on hand for last week’s Mission Award Ceremony, which gives special attention to the qualities that St. Thomas Law values as a community.  FMJ has been glad to partner with UST Law to help honor 3L recipients of this award since its inception.

Molly Novak was nominated for the 3L Mission Award by her classmate, Elizabeth Kratochwill.  As Elizabeth stated in the nomination:

Molly has spent the last three years bettering the legal field of the Twin Cities. Her passion, skill, and determination elevate all those around her. And she does this with kindness, approachability, and humility. The St. Thomas community is stronger because she has been a part of it. Those of us who have had the privilege of being her classmates will be better attorneys for it.

While in law school, Molly has been a leader on campus, and she has been an instrumental member of the Cold Case Collective (founding member), the Women’s Law Student Association, the Anti-Racism Alliance (founder), and the Law Student Parents Association (founder).  Molly is dedicated to providing meaningful assistance to those in need, and she has worked as a certified student attorney in clinics, externships, and legal organizations in the Twin Cities that have helped her build a solid foundation for her legal career.  After graduation, Molly will serve as a Public Defender at the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office.

FMJ congratulates Molly Novak on her well-deserved Mission Award. We are honored to be a small part of her law school journey, and we are thankful that she will be joining our legal community in the Twin Cities.
