We are pleased to announce that the head of our General Corporate & Business and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups, Heidi Carpenter, has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of the firm! Along with her newly-appointed duties that go into effect on July 1, 2022, Heidi will continue to practice law full-time.
Have no fear, Bob Fafinski isn’t going anywhere! Bob will be transitioning to his new role as Chairman of the Board and will continue leading the firm, practicing law, and serving his clients.
We are proud that FMJ’s second-ever CEO is a female – joining only 25% of women that hold executive leadership positions at law firms.
Heidi and Bob have worked together for over 24 years and have been working on this seamless transition for the past nine months. FMJ is committed to continuing our goal to provide big-firm knowledge and experience in an intimate, small-firm customer service model.
