Minnesota CLE has invited Corporate Attorney Pat Shriver to discuss the new reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act, which became effective on January 1, 2024. This new Federal law applies to all businesses and is particularly aimed at small to mid-sized business entities. This law will have a broad impact on a number of processes, including the new information companies will need to track and report, the language small businesses should include in shareholder and operating agreements, and the role of attorneys in the formation process.
