# TCB Notable Partners in Law: Heidi Carpenter

Twin Cities Business has named FMJ Shareholder [Heidi Carpenter](https://www.fmjlaw.com/professional/heidi-a-carpenter/) as a Notable Partner in Law in the special editorial feature profiling accomplished attorneys in the legal profession in Minnesota.

Heidi was recently named FMJ’s incoming Chief Executive Officer, is the head of FMJ’s General Corporate & Business and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, serves on the Board, and is the co-founder of FMJ’s Women Uncorked. She was the first Associate ever hired at the firm in 1999.
