Jordanne Kissner practices in the Transportation & Logistics and Banking & Financial Institutions practice groups at FMJ. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with their business and commercial aviation needs, trucking and transportation, and other equipment finance and leasing matters.

Jordanne strives to get to know her clients in order to be a better partner and advocate. She builds these effective client relationships through her three core fundamentals: communication, strategy, and delivery. Jordanne establishes open and honest lines of communication, which allows her to strategically advise clients at all stages. She then takes it upon herself to deliver work product that meets client deadlines and objectives.

Prior to joining FMJ, Jordanne was Assistant General Counsel to an independently owned national bank where she worked with lenders, brokers, and businesses in secured commercial finance transactions, including SBA lending, real estate purchases, equipment finance, and business acquisitions. She is also a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (Associate).

Jordanne also has personal experience in the trucking and transportation industry, as she grew up in a family with an established owner-operator business and a small fleet of trucks. She is, accordingly, quite familiar with all aspects of the trucking industry, including cleaning out semi cabs for gas money while growing up. As a lawyer, Jordanne now works directly with shippers, motor carriers, owner-operators, and freight brokers to guide them through the many complex legal and business issues that can impact their companies.

The Rest of the Story:
Jordanne understands that the summers in Minnesota are meant for the lake. She grew up on a lake and frequently visits in the summer to spend time on the water. When it’s not summer in Minnesota, you can find Jordanne exploring new restaurants in the metro area, traveling to a new city, or spending time with friends and family. She particularly enjoys football games on Sundays, a really good fiction novel, and strong coffee.
