New Associate with Privacy Background Added to FMJ’s Litigation Practice Group
We are pleased to announce that attorney Adina Florea has joined the firm as an Associate in our Litigation and Appellate practice groups. Florea’s practice will focus on clients in a variety of litigation contexts, including matters in commercial litigation.
Florea is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US). This certification demonstrates the understanding of a principles-based framework and knowledge base in information privacy within the United States. Privacy and data security is a rapidly growing legal area and Florea will be an excellent additional resource to FMJ’s clients in this area.
Before joining FMJ, Florea was an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Minneapolis where she served as co-chair of the firm’s business litigation practice group. She earned her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and her B.A. from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Romania.
“We are excited to add another skilled attorney to the Litigation practice group, especially one with a background in the growing area of privacy,” said Shannon McDonough, Head of the Litigation practice group and Board Member. “Adina will be a huge asset to the team as we continue to face cases where data security and privacy are issues at the heart of these contentious matters.”
