# Nate Snyder Appointed as Minnesota Outreach Captain for the Sports Lawyers Association

Congratulations to Nate Snyder, who recently accepted an appointment to the Sports Lawyers Association’s Outreach Committee, where he will serve as the Minnesota Outreach Captain. The Sports Lawyers Association (SLA) is the preeminent global association for sports law, with the common goal of understanding, advancement, and ethical practice of sports law. 

The SLA includes more than 1,000 current members, including practicing lawyers, law educators, law students, and other professionals with an interest in law relating to professional and amateur sports. The Outreach Committee seeks to help expand SLA membership and Annual Conference attendance by promoting and organizing local networking and outreach events for potential and current SLA Members. The 50th Annual SLA Conference, *50 Years: Impacting the Future of Sports*, will take place in Nashville, TN May 15 to 17, 2025.
