# Litigation and HR & Employment Attorney V. John Ella Joins FMJ!

FMJ is excited to announce that John Ella is joining the firm as a shareholder working in our Litigation and HR & Employment practice groups!  

John practices in all aspects of commercial litigation, employment law, and business law, with an emphasis on unfair competition and defending employment claims.  He brings a wealth of experience in litigation, appellate work, and HR & Employment advising. John has handled a wide variety of matters over the course of his career, ranging from administrative matters to complex trials and appeals. 

John is a prolific writer and thought leader in a number of different legal areas, including HR & Employment, Litigation, Law and Technology, Drug Testing, Professional Licensing, and the list goes on and on.  John has been asked to speak on a number of these topics and others at CLEs and Seminars across Minnesota and nationally.  He is a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice and serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. John has also served as a mediator and been called as an expert witness on the topic of employment law.
