# Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota – Ag Conference 2018

[Jared Peterson](https://www.fmjlaw.com/professional/jared-d-peterson-2/), the head of FMJ’s [Agriculture](https://www.fmjlaw.com/practice-area/agriculture/) practice group, will present at the [Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota](http://www.icbm.org/)‘s upcoming [Ag Conference](http://www.icbm.org/ag-conference.html), which is taking place on Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20. The presentation is titled, “Dealing with Unsecured Creditor Levies and Ag Liens” and will take place at 9:15 am on Friday, July 20.

Jared will discuss the rights of unsecured creditors on a debtor’s property versus the right of secured creditors to protect their collateral. He will also discuss what secured creditors should be aware of when an unsecured creditor claims an ag lien.
