As part of the creditor's rights group and the corporate group at Fafinski Mark & Johnson, Christopher Knapp specializes in both creating contractual relationships and enforcing them. Chris has experience in counseling and assisting clients in a wide range of sophisticated corporate transactions. Chris' specific experience includes the representation of unsecured creditors committees in very large commercial bankruptcies.  He also represents creditors in all stages of debt restructuring and recovery. His knowledge and experience in both general corporate law and creditor's rights enables Chris to provide clients a unique perspective on both ends of a contract.

Chris graduated with honors from Santa Clara University received his Juris Doctor from The University of Iowa College of Law. During law school, Chris wrote for the University of Iowa's Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems. He also gained experience in a variety of legal practice areas by working at non-profit legal clinics. Chris is conversant in Mandarin Chinese and has previously lived and worked in China.

While at home in St. Paul, Chris enjoys the arts, reading and cheering on the local sports teams. Chris' favorite hobby is traveling; he has lived in both Ireland and China, and has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia and North America.
