Adina Florea is an Associate in the Litigation and Appellate practice groups at FMJ. Her practice focuses on clients in a variety of litigation contexts, including matters in business law, where she reviews and analyzes complex situations, develops persuasive and carefully crafted legal arguments, and provides strong courtroom advocacy. Adina’s creativity and skill allow her to be a practical and effective adviser and advocate in all stages from pre-litigation through all appropriate appeals
Adina’s representation of her clients is personal as well as professional. Her clients know that she will invest the extra time, effort, and energy to thoroughly understand her clients’ business, as well as her clients’ personal and business goals in the litigation process. Adina emphasizes respect, composure in unexpected or high-stress situations, and open communication in her practice.
Prior to joining FMJ, Adina was an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Minneapolis where she served as co-chair of the firm’s business litigation practice group. In addition, she previously clerked for the Honorable Judge R. Rodenberg on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and during this time she clerked for the office of general counsel at Xcel Energy, Inc. and worked as a judicial extern for both the Honorable Susan Richard Nelson on the U.S. District Court of Minnesota and the Honorable Robert A. Awsumb on the Minnesota Second Judicial District Court.

Adina enjoys volunteering in her community and exploring Como Lake and Zoo with her husband Draeke, her son Dax, and two active rescue dogs. As an avid cooking enthusiast and baker, Adina is always trying out new recipes from her extensive cookbook collection and loves to learn about foreign languages and cultures. She enjoys playing strategy board games and always looks forward to the next opportunity to explore the vibrant Twin Cities restaurant scene with her husband and friends.
